Nestling at the bottom
of the Arlois valley, CHASSELAS is
proud of its remarkable heritage : The 12th and 17th
century church, its typical galleried Mâconnaises
houses, with porches, wells, roadside crosses… and
above all the three-towered 18th century Castle located
in the middle of the vineyards. The visitor reaches a large
yard at the end of an alley.
From the Bourg, your walk will take you through
cool woods, to the Mont Archez where you can
enjoy a fine view over the village and the Arlois valley. |
