In 1947 the Association of White Wine Producers was created which gathered winegrowers from Saint-Vérand, Chânes, Chasselas, Leynes and Saint-Amour. At that time these villages produced white “Beaujolais village".

The villages of Davayé and Prissé, which produced Mâcon village blanc joined the association in 1953 and 1969.
